My name is Michael and I’m the founder and executive director of Flickering Torches. I’ve been involved with the paranormal since childhood through direct experiences, as well as making a lifelong study of the subject, including ghosts, UFOs, psychic phenomena, cryptids, and demonology. My background is in news media and investigative research. I’m also versed in forensic science. I’m skilled in photography and art, specializing in sculpture. My art has been sold at charity auctions and to private collectors. My photos have appeared in The Inland Echo, The Pacific Northwest Inlander, The Whitman County Gazette, and The Davenport Times. I was a founding member of the Spokane Paranormal Society before its untimely demise, and was the founder and director of an aerial phenomena research group many years ago. I’m the caretaker of Lakeview Cemetery in Sprague (an unpaid position). I’m a researcher of all things paranormal and enjoy bringing news of interest to readers of this website and our Facebook page. I’m available for public speaking and interviews, consulting and on-site investigation work. My paranormal work was mentioned in an article about the Spokane area paranormal scene for the Halloween 2009 edition of The Inlander. I’m currently writing a book focusing on modern investigative techniques borrowed from the world of forensics and applying them to paranormal investigation.

My name is Joel. I worked as a Senior Archaeological Technician for nine years, traveling the US extensively and studying abroad. I frequently served in supervisory roles with crews and was also responsible for being a cultural liaison between the archeological firms and many Native American Tribes. I’ve been published for my works as a professional artifact illustrator. I’m planning on continuing my ceramic pottery art and will be selling this unique form of expression though local galleries and online. I live in Spokane with my wife and little baby girl. I bring to the team a strong knowledge of the paranormal and my gift of being a sensitive. As a small child, I had the gift of sensing supernatural activity and became very comfortable with its nature. I also bring a scientific background to ensure a proper investigation. Today, I’m a Licensed Massage Practitioner with five years experience. I’m the owner operator of Green Wave Massage Therapy in Airway Heights.

My name is Kathi and I’m single and an animal lover with four dogs who are my kids still living at home. I have a wonderful daughter and three grandsons. I’ve always been intrigued by the paranormal and wondered is there an after life? Can we contact those who have passed on? What’s on the other side? So I joined this great team of paranormal researchers and became a ghost hunter to seek out the unknown to find proof that their is indeed life beyond death. I’m looking forward to many phenomenal paranormal encounters.

My name is Michelle. I am a wife, a mother and a registered nurse in my professional and private life. I am also a paranormal investigator with this great group of people. I have had several unexplainable experiences throughout my lifetime, which always caused me to want to understand more about the paranormal and most all things paranormal. My husband and I tried dabbling in investigating on our own, but I have found it to be more than just a hobby and that working with other people was a real treat. I enjoy helping and teaching people about paranormal experiences so that they can become more educated and better able to understand what is happening and hopefully why they may be experiencing what they are dealing with. I have a profound interest in this field and I look forward to learning and growing with such a strong team. I also hope to open different sources of studies in the scientific community to bring together a universally accepted form of paranormal investigation that can be used by all paranormal teams and scientific researchers, enabling everyone to open their minds, providing the world with greater knowledge and empowering all groups of people everywhere, and having fun while doing so.
